Shanna & Phil: weddings

Because this was my sister's wedding it was different than any other wedding I've photographed. I was constantly surrounded by the planning and the stress and the fun of everything. It was a very different experience. I was so close to everything I thought by the time the wedding day finally arrived I would be numb to any emotional part of it.

I was wrong.

I started getting emotional during the rehearsal and knew that come wedding day all the stress of the day would pass and I would watch my sister walk down the aisle and marry the man of her dreams. It was pretty amazing.

I LOVE this shot Kristin got while we were out taking the bridal party photographs!

My parents, I love them.

Don't judge me ;]

Shanna and Phil had cards printed and invited everyone at the reception to draw pictures for them. They're going to compile a book of everything.

We had to get one "creeper" picture.

The bridal party is way too busy to care about things like weddings. ;]

I also want to say a HUGE thank you to Kristin and Heather who were my second shooters for the day. They were SO incredibly helpful! Especially because I wasn't allowed to have my camera during the ceremony. I'm SO grateful for all the work they did for me. They are both truly amazing!
