Shanna & Phil: first look

I think I’ve cried more in the last 5 days then I did during all the angsty teenage years of my life. Maybe that’s an exaggeration. Maybe.

It’s been a fantastic last few days. But they have completely worn.me.out. I’m physically and emotionally drained, so if you see me on the streets don’t be nice to me. I’ll break out into hysterics.

If you follow me on Twitter or are my friend on Facebook you’ve probably heard that my older sister, Shanna just married my most amazing new brother, Phil 9 days ago. They got back from their honeymoon last night so it seems most fitting that I post their first of a few blog posts today. You know, to give people something to read during their monday work day. ;]

I was very VERY excited when Shanna and Phil opted to do a first look. I just love first looks. They really set the tone for the day; most weddings are rushed, stressful and absolutely crazy with no real time for the bride and groom to just BE together. First looks give the bride and groom a moment to slow down and remember what their wedding day is really about: each other. I’m glad my sister got to experience that.
