Shanna & Phil: bridal portraits

Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 9:23 AM

They met in art school.

I remember Shanna coming home from school one day so excited to show off a picture she had secretly snapped of him during a group project. After class most days he would accompany he would accompany her to my dad’s office and they would work on homework together. Or get Tommy’s. Whichever sounded better at the time. Being the pesky younger sister I thought they were both crazy. Who would want to hang out in my dad’s office for fun? But I’m sure it was in those moments that Phil stole Shanna’s heart.

Look at me, getting emotional writing this. *shakes head*

Like I said yesterday, I’m SO glad Shanna & Phil chose to do a first look. Because they did we were able to travel off site from the church and take bridal portraits in fun places! First Looks = MAGIC!

We wandered the streets of Old Torrance for their portraits. Not much is better than wedding dresses and alleyways right? ;] I know I said this yesterday too but seriously, I have never seen my sister so happy. It was really beautiful to see her smile and laugh SO much. I’m so very glad she found someone as amazing as Phil. [Yesterday I sent him a text message to tell him I started blogging their portraits and he responded saying, “Thanks, sis!” Man, I love him!] He really brings out the best in her.
