Monday Morning: personal

I don't know very many people who like or appreciate Monday mornings.

When I woke up this morning I was tired and had REALLY bad hair. Plus, it was all rainy and I have a family session this afternoon! Talk about cranky.

Then I started thinking back to the weekend. On Friday I was able to meet up with Marissa, we haven't seen each other in AGES! And not only that but Heather came down from BC and stayed with me for a few days so we had ourselves a whole IMAGINE: intern reunion! Fantastic!

On Saturday my sister got married. I just think about Saturday and get so happy. First of all, I have to share the bathroom with one less person. Score! Second, my sister married the most kind and genuine guy I have ever met. I love him so much and am so very glad I get to call him brother. Cue a host of emotions.

My friend Danielle wrote on Facebook this morning, "I swear the wedding has made everyone all emotional and thankful and inspired."

When I think about this weekend that's exactly what I feel: emotional, thankful, and inspired; and Monday morning doesn't seem so bad.

It's been said that a blog post isn't complete without a picture, I have to agree so I present to you the cutest ring bearer I have ever seen. I'm biased though, because he holds my heart. Well, he holds my heart with one hand and with his other he holds a DS. ;]
