Hacienda Hotel: venues

A few months ago I took pictures of two sweet girls in downtown Long Beach. Last week their father contacted me about photographing the hotel he manages.

My goodness! I have driven by this hotel countless times, but never been inside until this last week. I can't even begin to describe it to you. First, it's GIGANTIC! You would never imagine it when you see it from the street but this hotel has over 600 rooms and as one of it's employees said, it is an "oasis away from the city". It most definitely is! Second, it's stunning! I can't get over how much I loved the decorations, the paintings, the candles-- it's amazing! I will let the photographs speak for themselves.

















while we were waiting for the sun to set so I could see the courtyard all lit up at night I shot images of a few of the hotel rooms. They're amazing!











All of the paintings featured in these photos were done by an artist who lives in the hotel. I was completely floored as I walked through the halls and the courtyards of the Hacienda. Her artwork is breathtaking! Her name is Selwyn and if you're interested in contacting her email me!
