Genesis: anytime

I get butterflies before every.single.session. I get nervous that I'm going to be too awkward, or that I'll run out of things to talk about with my clients. I often live in fear of my own quirks. But only once before I met with Genesis last Thursday did I think "Oh Crap! What if I mess this all up!?" Because Genesis is so fun to be around and laugh with her photo session was more like walking on the beach with a good friend.

I couldn't stop smiling as I drove home because I felt so blessed. That I had the chance to photograph a friend, that her hair caught the light just perfectly, that we never ran out of things to talk about, and that I never felt awkward. I was reminded just how much I love what I do and how God has shown me time and time again over the last few weeks just how much He loves me. I'll admit it, through the smiling a few happy tears were shed as well. ;]

Genesis, Thank you. I had such an amazing time with you! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! For trusting me when I told you to stand in a dirty alleyway, or in front of a garage, and for putting up with my abuse when I yelled at you for fake smiling ;] I'm so excited to see you this Thursday for an epic Disneyland trip! ♥ ♥ ♥
