Tarah: just for fun

I remember when Tarah was in elementary school. I remember when she would try so hard to hang out with the older crowd. You see, I was friends with her older brother and when I would pick him up as we all went to the bowling alley or while we sat on the bleachers in the gym at church she was always in the background wanting to be with us but not quite making the cut. I remember when I would go to plays at my high school to see Danielle perform. Tarah would always make her way onto the stage after the curtain had closed mingling with the high schoolers and dreaming of the day she would be on that same stage.

About a month ago I sat in the auditorium of my former high school and my heart swelled with pride to see Tarah, in high school, singing and dancing on the very stage she dreamed about for so long. Two days ago Tarah turned 15. She is no longer that little girl pining for the attention of her older brothers friends. Instead the tables have turned and she has grown into a beautiful young lady whose bubbly personality and infectious laugh make everyone want to be around her.

Meet Tarah. I love this girl.

I'm so envious of her freckles.

favorite!!

Our day didn't end up lasting too long because my camera broke right in the middle of our session. This is the last picture I snapped before the mirror in my beloved 5D broke. He's been sent off to Canon to be fixed but as soon as he gets home Tarah and I are going to finish this session in an epic way. So stay tuned. ;]
