Eileen, Melissa, & Myldred: seniors

Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 9:09 PM

I'm trying to remember the first time I met these girls.

I'm sure it wasn't all at once, and honestly it's possible we were never formally introduced. That happens when I spend time in 9-3. Often I stand around the classroom observing, learning about students through watching, photographing, and getting little tidbits of information from Mr. Anderson as the day goes by. I often don't "meet" students until after they add me on Facebook and we start "liking" each others statuses.

Eileen, Melissa and Myldred are seniors in the class of 2010, they actually graduate in less than a week! [I'm sure as they read this they're loving the reminder that "real life" is right around the corner haha!] They're always among the first to say hi and give me hugs when I visit the school and I have really loved getting to know them this year. I had so much fun hanging out with these ladies last weekend and getting to capture a glimpse of their lives at the end of high school.
