Benita & Ken: wedding

From the moment I drove into Ellendale, ND I felt appreciated and welcomed and truly overwhelmed by all the love people were showing me. I can't express how extremely blessed I am to have been given the privlidge to shoot Benita and Ken's wedding. Having someone trust me enough to want to fly me to another state [even though we've never met!] just so I can share *their* day with them. Wow. I am so blessed.

May 7th 2010 I woke up and looked out the kitchen window to see snow falling. The California girl in me had a *slight* panic attack ;] But watching Benita get ready that morning not stressing about her hair, or makeup, or a wrinkle in her dress she just kept saying, "Can't I just go get married?" I loved her attitude. Their wedding was aboslutely beautiful, the chapel at Trinity was filled with people who loved and supported them and their marriage. I found out later that Benita and Ken shared their first kiss at the altar. How amazing is that!?

I have so much to say about my trip to North Dakota that I'm trying to bite my tounge and save it for the blog posts to come. But from the bottom of my heart thank you Benita and Ken for inviting me in to your day, for laughing, smiling, *freezing*, and completely trusting me.
