Because I'm Happy

I adore magical things. Glitter, wishing, the golden light at sunset, the Christmas firework show at Disneyland complete with snow, a song that brings tears to your eyes. As childish as it is, it makes me smile and my heart happy. Today was quite a magical day and as I'm sitting here watching the newest Tinkerbell movie [I told you.. kind of childish LOL] my heart is happy.

I am so blessed to have the people that I have in my life. People who are loving and encouraging and sarcastic exactly when I need it. I'm blessed to live in a place that has such an amazing and supportive photography community, where I can just go and see people like Jasmine Star teach about her passion for helping people and how we should be putting others before ourselves. In that same room I can tear up at the sight of a dear friend I haven't seen in just over a month. It's magical. I'm grateful that I have days where I can reflect on the magic in my life and thank God for it.
