Norton Simon Museum: just for fun

When I admit this, every "artist" point I have ever received is probably going to get thrown out the window. Fail. But, I really dislike art museums. [I almost said loathe but that seemed a little extreme.] I just don't get it, I hate trying to interpret what the artist was thinking or feeling or the deeper meaning behind something. I've never been good at that, and I've always hated having to do that with my photography. It probably has something to do with my social awkwardness ;] I don't want people analyzing my work too much because then they'll be able to judge the way I see things. Oh! And I haaate having to be silent walking through these places.. I like to laugh loudly, and if you do that in a museum security will follow you. I know. I am not a fan of art museums. LOL

But, it never fails. Every semester I have a friend taking an art class and I always volunteer to tag along on museum field trips. I don't know why. ;D So, yesterday I tagged along with my friend Brenna and we spent over an HOUR walking through the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena. It's funny, as much as I dislike going to museums... I always have the best time being with my friends.

I had a thing for the frames :]

I love this one

I made Brenna feel like she was in kindergarden and made her take a picture in front of the museum :P
