Jennifers' Baby Shower: maternity

When my friend Nicky approached me about photographing Jennifers' baby shower a few months ago I automatically said "Sure!" Then I paused and asked, "but wouldn't she rather have a maternity shoot?" Nicky proceeded to tell me that when Jennifer was pregnant with her first baby, Penelope, there was a digital camera disaster at the baby shower and she came out with no pictures! So Nicky wanted to make sure there was a plethora to choose from at Jenns' second shower for Austyn. The shower was held at a super cute coffee shop, I had such a great time taking pictures of all the amazing ladies that attended. And it was awesome because I had so much freedom to wander and observe [one of my favorite things to do! haha] so I could get all artsy and I ended up with some images that I really really love.

On a side note, I'm using my new laptop tonight :D we bonded for quite a few hours over Starbucks at the Irvine Spectrum on Friday night. I was able to get tons of work done and I feel slightly more sane about my to-do list! hurray!! :D I'm trying to forget that I'm cheating on my old laptop. I feel like I need to do something to memorialize its life.. but that sounds ridiculious. Its not like I could frame it LOL.

This is my favorite!! I'm super loving it!

I also love this one! This is the lovely pastors wife at my church :D

The second-time Mommy to be was also looking lovely!

Stacee - they're great. The ones from the outside are my favorite ones, from the outside looking in, reminds me of movies when someone wanders by a house at Christmastime when, through the window, you can see the family enjoying time together.
