Meeting Gerard Way: personal

Ok, so, Cassandra found out Gerard Way [the celeb love of her life!] was signing autographs *super* close to us but she had to work. She made a plea on facebook and myspace asking anyone who didnt have to work to go for her and get something signed for her since she couldn't. I refused to believe she couldnt get the day off and told her since I was off I would go WITH her WHEN she got the time off. She did end up getting the time off and we spent what I think was the longest day of my entire life at Univeral Citywalk waiting for Gerard.

She picked Dulce and I up at 2am. We arrived at Citywalk around 3... what with our great need to make U-Turns... it was early. Takingthe 110 South over the 110 North couldnt make that big of a differance could it? ;] Apprently My Chem fans aren't as hardcore as Jonas Brother fans and no one was in line.. so we headed over to Denny's for a few hours.







Around 6 we headed back to Citywalk just to check the status of everything. But the parking structures were still all closed. So out of frustration pure exhaustion we just decided to drive around. Really smart right? lol. We went all through Hollywood and ended up in Beverly Hills and on Rodeo drive where none of us had ever been before. Let me tell you Beverly Hills is creepy beyond allllll reason at when its dark outside.



At 7 we got back to Citywalk and parked and joined a line of about 15 people. Time goes by really slowly when you're just sitting in line. So there was lots of facebooking and twittering. Thats the sun rising behind us btw. It was early.













Oh, and the line was in the shade. About 2 feet from the sun. We were freezing all morning. Cassandra almost died. No joke. ;]







These pictures are "Gerard" faces, showing the sheer excitement Cassandra and Dulce were feeling. LOL.



Then I asked Cassandra to make a "Michael" face... and that one was much more adorable. ;]
